Simply put, hypnosis is a state of highly
focused attention or concentration.

Hypnosis Facts

  • Hypnosis does not involve mind control, magic, unconsciousness, or sleep.

  • You cannot be made to enter hypnosis against your will.

  • Hypnosis is a natural experience that happens to most of us each day when we become absorbed in doing something like driving, working, reading, or watching TV.

  • All your senses are awake and alert while you are in a hypnotic state.

  • You are in control at all times while in hypnosis.

  • You only say and do in hypnosis what you would normally say and do.

  • You can come out of hypnosis any time you either want to or feel the need to.

  • The use of hypnosis gives you the opportunity to make changes that last.

  • Hypnotherapists work in complementary ways with physicians and other health care providers to help optimize the care patients receive.

  • Results from hypnosis can be restorative, rehabilitative, curative and, seemingly, miraculous—all by harnessing the untapped power of the subconscious mind.

What happens in a session?

I start by putting you into a relaxed state of hypnosis. In this state, we can access your subconscious mind and revisit key moments in your past that contributed to the formation of your most deeply held beliefs, the beliefs that drive your actions in the present.

The aim is to give new meaning to these scenes in your life and to challenge previous interpretations of them. We consider three or four scenes and work together to understand their meaning for you. I then provide your mind with suggestions, which lead to new beliefs that are more in line with what you truly want for yourself.

The mind learns by repetition, so I will give you a personalized recording of these suggestions to listen to every day. Soon after, you will have remade yourself by generating new patterns of thought that lead to new patterns of behavior.

Ramona, what if I can't be hypnotized?

  • Does it work?
  • How long does it take?
Each Rapid Transformational Therapy session lasts around 1.5 - 2 hours
  • What does it feel like?
The experience feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Others may feel sleepy, some do not. Most people feel relaxed and at ease. What’s most important is to know that how you feel isn’t an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like – it’s working. I promise.
  • Can I get stuck in hypnosis?
No. You have complete control the whole time. You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, even get up and leave. If the session is online and our call gets disconnected you can simply open your eyes and resume your activies.
  • How does it work?
Hypnosis is not magic – it’s science! It works by creating brain waves that are the same as when you’re in REM sleep. That’s what allows you to access the subconscious mind. It’s very easy and anyone can do it, you’ll see for yourself when you do it too!
  • What if I don’t “go deep” enough?
Don’t worry about how deep you go. I want you to forget all about that. The depth of trance is not linked to results. So don’t get stuck on “Am I deep enough?” Just tell yourself the truth – “This is working” and it will absolutely work. Just know that it is effective.
  • What if I think I already know the reasons behind my issue?
What makes RTT amazing is that even if you think you know the reason, you see it in a completely new way. That’s what allows you to change the meaning and ultimately, change your beliefs. And for many clients they go back to scenes that are totally different than what they expected. Just relax and trust that your subconscious mind will show you exactly what you need to see. Remember: if you did know the real reason behind your issue, you probably would have fixed it by now.
  • Will I be asleep?
No, during hypnosis you do not go to sleep. You are awake and alert, aware of everything that is happening throughout the session.
  • Will you take control of my mind?
No. You are in charge. You cannot be made to do anything and you cannot be taken into hypnosis against your will. It is your experience, I simply facilitate it.
  • How will I feel afterwards?
Everyone is different. You might come out of your session bouncing with excitement or you may feel a sense of reflection or wonder. You may continue to discover even more about yourself & your programming post session. Whether you feel excited or reflective, you will always leave with a sense of understanding, freedom and empowerment.
  • What if I can’t be hypnotised?
You can. Everyone can. As long as you wish to enter hypnosis, you will. It's an easy, enjoyable and thoroughly relaxing process.
  • When will I start to see changes?
There are three types of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy – every person is different: Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away – immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviours right in the session. Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, or over time. Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life. You may experience a combination of the three.
  • What if I need or want another session?
RTT is designed to give you a powerful breakthrough and create big changes in your life. After seeing the incredible, rapid shifts RTT brings, many choose to continue to work on other areas of their life and receive coaching to integrate the new beliefs and build new habits and behaviours.
